Bio

My name is Beth Kesler and I am a self-proclaimed artist. I was born in San Jose, CA and have lived most of my life in various parts of California (there was a brief three year stay in Mississippi). I received my B.A. from University of California, Riverside in 2008 and I am currently working on my certificate in Graphic Communications.
I have been an artist since the age of 5. I can recall coming home from school one day and furiously drawing heads of all shapes and sizes. I was amazed at the variety I was able to get out of the same basic lines and shapes. That was the day I decided I wanted to be an artist! Cartooning was my first love, but with the digital age I changed course in 2008. I received recognition as a designer with my re-branding of the Oregon Conservation Network. From there I have steadily and steadfastly taken on every design job that has come my way. My art ranges from painting and drawing to computer graphics. I have whole-heartedly embraced the computer as an artistic medium and I am currently a freelance graphic designer working in photo restoration, vector design, concept art, and marketing communications.
The process by which I come up with my designs is different for each project. Some designs begin as a drawing, some as a photograph, and others just out of play. I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from political campaigns to children's books. Every design is important. Each one becomes my baby when I start to work on it, and from beginning to end I devote myself to creating a design that will capture attention. I currently work out of my home in Sacramento, California. My client base is all over the world, which I find fascinating and truly rewarding.
